Funeral & Sympathy Flowers For the Service in Atlanta, GA

Funeral service flowers are displayed at the funeral home, church, or graveside to honor the person being remembered and comfort those who attend. Floral Designs Atlanta designs service arrangements by hand and delivers them to funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries across metro Atlanta, including Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Marietta, Alpharetta, and Roswell. Owner and florist Melzetta Oliver personally designs each tribute and coordinates delivery timing so your flowers are in place before the service begins.

Types of Funeral Service Flowers

  • Casket sprays: Arrangements placed on top of the casket, available in half-couch and full-couch sizes. These are traditionally chosen by the immediate family.
  • Standing sprays and wreaths: Large arrangements displayed on easels near the casket or at the front of the chapel. Wreaths symbolize eternal life, and both are a common choice for friends, coworkers, and extended family.
  • Urn tributes: Arrangements designed to surround or frame an urn at a cremation or memorial service.
  • Floor and pedestal arrangements: Tall, freestanding arrangements that flank the casket, altar, or memorial table, often ordered in pairs.

Every piece can be customized with a favorite flower or color, or in a style that reflects the person being honored. Call 404-246-0115 to talk through options with Melzetta.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between a standing spray and a floor arrangement?
A standing spray is mounted on an easel and faces guests, often in a flat or fan shape. Floor and pedestal arrangements are freestanding and fuller, and they’re usually placed in pairs on either side of the casket or altar.

What flowers are appropriate for a memorial service without a casket?
Urn tributes, floor and pedestal arrangements, and standing sprays all work well. An urn tribute is designed specifically to frame the urn or a photo of the person being remembered.

How far in advance should I order funeral flowers?
Ordering one to two days before the service gives the most flexibility, especially for casket sprays and larger pieces. Same-day delivery is available if you order before the cutoff.

Can I send service flowers to a church or graveside?
Yes. We deliver to funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries. Include the location and service time with your order so delivery can be timed correctly.
